Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Journal of Reproducible Research (JRR) shall strictly adhere to review process after the submission of manuscripts from authors. The review system abets to validate academic work; improves the quality of published research; and increases networking possibilities within relevant research communities. JRR adheres to particular typeset and formatting guidelines. Although it is similar to any international journal, we request authors to take note on structure and referencing styles of the journal. Any article that is submitted against the following, will proceed to desk-rejection from the Editor.

Submission Preparation Checklist

 While submitting authors are required to ensure that their submission is in compliance with all of the following items, and it has to be noted that submissions can be returned to authors if the following guidelines are not adhered

  • The submitted article should be an un-published article i.e., the same title and content of the respective article shouldn’t be published before
  • The submission document should only be in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
  • The title of paper should employ Times New Roman font with font-size of 12 in sentence-case; it should have complete title of the article, name(s) of author(s), Institution(s) at which work was performed, institutional e-mail address (if any) of the corresponding author
  • The abstract text is single-spaced; uses an 8 point font size; employs Times New Roman font. Abstract should be factual condensation of the entire work and should NOT exceed 200 words. Keywords are to be highlighted in alphabetical order. Five keywords are mandatory
  • The body text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font size; employs Times New Roman font, and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The reference style is APA 7th Edition for referencing purpose. All the references are to be inserted through a referencing tool like Mendeley or EndNote. Manually keying the in-text reference section will lead to desk-rejection mandatorily. JRR is particularly strict in referencing part as this is the primary factor for us to be cited and read by other researchers
  • A mini-bio of author(s) with their passport-size picture at the end of manuscript.
